Weir X Exporter is a free extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Open a profile or a post on X, click the extension, and download a CSV. It also shows who unfollowed an account and copies threads for AI.

What it does

Followers and following to CSV

Any public account's followers or the accounts it follows: username, name, follower counts, bio, location and join date, one row each.

See who unfollowed

Export an account's followers, then export them again later. The extension compares the two lists and shows who left and who arrived.

Posts and replies to CSV

An account's recent posts, or every reply to one post, with likes, reposts, replies, quotes, views and media links.

Copy a thread for AI

A thread and its replies as clean Markdown, ready to paste into ChatGPT, Claude or any other assistant.

How it works

1. Install the extension from your browser's store. It opens its settings page.
2. Create a free Weir account, create a key under API keys, and paste it into the extension.
3. Open an account or a post on x.com and click the extension's button, or type a username. The export runs in its own tab, so you can keep browsing.

What it costs

The extension is free. Each row costs one Weir credit, plus one credit per page of results, which holds about 70 accounts or 20 posts. The free plan's 5,000 monthly credits export about 4,900 followers. For more, $5 buys 25,000 credits that never expire; see pricing. Failed requests cost nothing, and when X is busy the extension waits and carries on instead of failing.

Privacy and permissions

• It contacts only api.weirapp.io, and only when you start an export or open its settings.
• It reads the address of the open tab only when you click its button, to offer the right export. It has no access to the pages you visit.
• Your Weir key and saved follower lists stay in the browser's local storage.
• It never uses or reads your X login, cookies or password.

Questions

Does it need my X password or login?

No. It never asks for your X password and never uses your X login, cookies or pages, so it cannot put your X account at risk. The data comes from Weir's API.

How do I see who unfollowed me?

Export your followers once to save the list. Next time, export them again: the extension shows who unfollowed and who is new since the last complete export. Accounts that are suspended or deleted drop out too.

Can it export protected accounts?

No. Protected accounts show their followers and posts only to people they approve, so the extension reads public accounts only.

Why do I need a Weir account?

The rows come from Weir's API, billed to your own account. The free plan gives 5,000 credits every month with no card, and the key stays on your computer.
