Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Tarun Khatri, an individual based in India (“Weir”, “we”, “us”). They govern your use of the Weir website at weirapp.io, the dashboard, the API at api.weirapp.io, the MCP server, the documentation, and the software development kits we publish (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, creating an API key, connecting an agent, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, to the Acceptable Use Policy and to the Refund Policy, which form part of them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to use the Service.

Weir provides programmatic access to publicly available content on third-party platforms — currently Reddit and X — through an API, an MCP server, and the dashboard. When you make a request, we retrieve the matching public content and return it to you. Monitors repeat a request on a schedule and report what is new; webhooks deliver those reports to an address you choose.

We do not own or control the platforms, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit, Inc., X Corp., or any other platform we retrieve content from. Their names and marks belong to them. Platforms change what they make available and how, and some content may be removed, edited, restricted, or unreachable at any time. We may add, change, or retire sources and endpoints; where a change removes something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice when we can.

Content returned by the Service is provided as it was available to us at the time of the request. We do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate, current, or lawful, and we do not review it.

• Keep your account information accurate, and keep your sign-in credentials, API keys, and webhook signing secrets confidential. You are responsible for everything done with them, including by members of your workspace and by any agent or application you connect.
• A workspace holds keys, monitors, webhooks, and credits, and can have several members with different roles. The workspace owner is responsible for who has access.
• If you believe a credential has been exposed, revoke it in the dashboard and tell us at support@weirapp.io. We may revoke a key we find published or being misused, and will tell you when we do.
• The free monthly credits are for one person or organisation. Creating multiple accounts or workspaces to obtain additional free credits is not permitted.

Use of the Service is measured in credits. The price of each operation, in credits, is published in our documentation and in the API contract, and every response reports what it charged. In general you are charged per result returned, with a minimum charge for a call that completes successfully even if it returns nothing, because the source was still queried. A request that fails or is refused is not charged.

• Free credits. Each workspace receives 5,000 free credits every month. Free credits reset monthly, do not roll over, and have no cash value. They are always spent before purchased credits.
• Purchased credits. You can buy prepaid credits in packs. Purchased credits do not expire while your account is open. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges, unless you turn on automatic top-ups where we offer them, in which case you authorise each top-up under the settings you chose until you turn them off.
• Credits belong to the workspace that bought them, cannot be transferred or resold, and cannot be exchanged for cash except as described in the Refund Policy.
• We may change pack prices and per-operation credit rates. Changes apply only to purchases and calls made after they take effect. We will give at least 30 days' notice before increasing the credit cost of an existing operation.

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments is the seller of record for your purchase: it processes the payment, issues the invoice or receipt, and calculates and collects any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST. Its own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself. Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you are.

We never receive or store your full card details. If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may remove the credits it bought and, where the reversal was not made in good faith, suspend the account while we resolve it with you.

You are responsible for your use of content obtained through the Service, and for ensuring it complies with the laws that apply to you — including privacy and data protection, intellectual property, and consumer protection law — and respects the rights of the people who created it. Public content can contain personal data; where it does, you decide what to do with it and are responsible for doing so lawfully.

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend a key, a monitor, a webhook, or an account that we reasonably believe is being used in breach of it.

You keep all rights in what you give us — queries, monitor configurations, webhook endpoints, and other inputs. You grant us a licence to host, process, and transmit them only as needed to provide, secure, and support the Service. We do not sell your data. We may use aggregated, de-identified information about how the Service is used to operate and improve it.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

The Service, including its software, documentation, and the Weir name and marks, belongs to us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. Our SDKs and other published code may come with their own licences, which govern that code.

We work to keep the Service available and publish its current state at weirapp.io/status, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability unless we have agreed a service level with you in writing. We may suspend all or part of the Service for maintenance, for security, to comply with the law, or because a source platform becomes unavailable.

You can stop using the Service at any time, and an owner can delete a workspace from its settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk for us or others, if a payment is reversed, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

If we end the Service, or close your account for a reason other than your breach of these Terms, we will refund the unused purchased credits in your workspace. Otherwise, refunds follow the Refund Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity — do.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and all content obtained through it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms.

Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and USD 100.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims, and the resulting losses and reasonable costs, arising from your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or from your use of content obtained through the Service in violation of the law or of someone else's rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Before starting proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the problem informally. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring proceedings there.

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before it takes effect, unless it is required sooner by law or to address a security issue. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you do not, stop using the Service, and any refund you are owed under the Refund Policy still applies.

• These Terms, with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between us about the Service, unless we have signed a separate agreement with you.
• You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor in a merger or sale of the business, with notice to you.
• If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
• Neither party is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages or changes at a source platform.
• You must comply with export control and sanctions laws that apply to your use of the Service.
